Refit
We’ve sourced, disassembled, and reset vintage jewelry to create one-of-a-kind necklaces as part of our Refit line. No duplicates means your necklace is 1 of 1.
Because 85% of clothing ends up in landfills or gets destroyed, one of the best things we can do for the planet is keep stuff in use longer. It also means doing our part to accelerate our transition towards a circular economy in fashion by reimagining past pieces as valuable raw materials. With Refit, we design backwards, crafting our products from upcycled and repurposed jewelry so that it can live multiple lives.
Plastiglomerate is a rock made of a mixture of sedimentary grains and other natural debris (e.g. shells, wood) that is held together by plastic. It has been considered a potential marker of the Anthropocene, an informal epoch proposed by some social scientists, environmentalists, and geologists.
